Introduction by Maxine Sherman, Artistic Director/Producer of Dance

Listen to an insightful conversation with Hastings-On-Hudson resident Bennett Rink, executive director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Artistic Director/Choreographer Ronald K. Brown of EVIDENCE/A Dance Company speak about fulfilling a dream of using dance to promote a deeper understanding of the human experience through the lens of the African Diaspora.

EVIDENCE/A Dance Company uses storytelling, traditional African movement and contemporary choreography to dig deeper into issues of community responsibility, liberation and spirituality; witnessing and awakening a sensory experience to become aware and more “evident” of who we are in our shared history and humanity.
