PAST EVENT: RRAHC to host Grand Gala February 11

The River Region Arts and Humanities Council will host its 2017 Grand Gala from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Feb. 11 at the San Francisco Plantation Sugar Mill Barn, 2646 Hwy. 44 (River Road) in Garyville. The public is invited.

All proceeds will benefit the RRAHC, a nonprofit organization which supports the arts in the River Parishes of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist and St. James Parishes.

Tickets are $25 per and person may be purchased at Belle Terre Land, located at 669 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace or by calling (985) 651-9090. Tickets may also be purchased online for $26 (including a $1 service fee) by clicking the PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE link below. One drink and food are included. All tickets purchased in advance will be available at will call the night of the event. Tickets will be identified by the name of the purchaser. Dress for the event is "snazzy casual." The River Region Arts & Humanities Council (RRAHC) was founded on the premise that the arts and humanities are an integral part of everyday life. The purpose of the Council is to serve as an umbrella organization to enrich the quality of life within the River Parishes Region through the promotion of the arts and humanities, the preservation and enhancement of local culture, and the support of arts education through fund-raising and program development.
